I'm sorry, I know that this becomes all toooo confusing. Our Frederick Arney was born in Switzerland in 1705. He died in PA in 1771. He and his family came to the US around 1710. He married Anna Maria (something) of Germany, in PA in 1720. They had:
Jacob Arney(born 1728 in PA and died 1782 in Lincoln Co.,
Norh Carolina). He married Anna Ursula Kron (1728-1761).
Michael Arney (born 1729-?)
John Arney (1729-1771)
Margaret (1731-?)
Elizabeth (1732-?)
Jacob and his wife Anna Maria had:
Christian (1750-1834)
Adam (1751-1802)
Lawrence (1752-1802)
Heinrich (1755-1830)
Conrad (1757-?)
Elizabeth (1762-1849)
Peter (1772-1845) This Peter died in Overton, TN
C. Katherine (1774-France)
Tobias (1775-1840)
Frederick (1776-France)
Christian, Adam, Lawrence, Henrich, Conrad were born in PA. Christian, Adam, Lawrence,Conrad died in NC. Henrich died in Indiana. The younger children of Jacob: Elizabeth, Peter, Katherine, Tobias and Frederick Jr.. were born in NC. Peter died in TN and Katherine and Frederick Jr both died in France.

More to come, if interested.
