I am searching for information about Sarah Arnwine who was born in 1869. She married John Steele. She died in New Mexico in 1928. I read the message by Kathy Christian and tried to reply to her posted email address--katchris@eurosteam.net, but the address is no longer working. If anyone knows her or has information about Sarah I would like to talk to you.
Here is some more history on the family. Sarah has five sibilings: Mary, John, Frank, Nettie, and James. Their parents were Phebe Elizabeth (Lewis) Arnwine and Issac Wheeler Arnwine. Phebe's parents were James M. Lewis and Anna (Yadon) Lewis. James and Anna lived in Claiborne county, Tennessee. The family can be found on the 1850 and 1860 census of that county. Issac and Phebe can be found on the 1870 census of that county. Issac and Phebe moved to Arkansas and Oklahoma where Issac disappeared.
