I'm looking for my husbands g-grandparents family. James E. was b.1865 in TX but his parents were born in WV. This is stated on the census of Mineral Co., Keyser, WV. He was the Justice of the Peace of Elk Garden(near Mt. Storm, WV.) for 12 yrs. around the 1900's then became the Jailer sometime around 1920 for Keyser, WV. He was married to Mary Izore King. They had four children Grace b. 1897 m. Carl McIntyre, Earl m Eva ? , Charles b.1909 m. Mary Smith, and Gerturde b. 1905 m. Roy Joseph Pase. We are related to Gerturde. Gerturde's daughter is still living and she had no idea that her grandfather was born in Tx. She had heard that his mothers name was Hannah and she might not have been married. She said that Earl moved to Arkon, Ohio to work in the Goodyear Plant. His children James, Paul, Betty, Mildred were born in Elk Garden and then in Ohio had Mary. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
