My maternal grandmother was a Tipton and my paternal great-grandmother was an Arp. My maiden name was Anderson. The Tipton family is well documented and I should be able to help you with that. We have had difficulty finding information on Arp's in early Texas, and your date of 1832 is very promising. I would be happy to share with you what is known if you would respond to this blog entry.
