I am descended from Pierre Arpin (Peter Harper) son of Antoine Arpin b: 18 Oct 1778 and Marie Charlotte-LaRiviere Chapdelaine b: 30 Dec 1781. Peter was born in 1811 at St.Ours.and his father died after that and before 1813 as his mother married again to Jean Baptiste Amiel-Lusignan. Note the dates here so as not to get confused with the other Marie-Antoine Arpin b:11 August 1748 and Marie-Charlotte Chapdelaine b: 16 April 1752. They were married 24 Sept. 1770 in St. Ours. Mine were married 20 Jan 1800
