Fred H Arps b: May 17, 1851 in Germany is my Great-Great Grandfaher. He died Jan 9, 1921 in Henry Co, Ohio. His death certificatelists his parents as Hy. Arps and Helena Arps (Frickey).

He married Alma Eudora Hunt on September 12, 1883 in Terra Cotta, McHenry, Illinois, daughter of Elston Higby Hunt and Elnora Felt.

My family line is through Elnora Felt, but I just wanted to share this information with the Arps list.

ARPS Family Photographs

I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as C. ARPS which was taken at the J.H. Peters Studio in San Francisco, California. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870's with the woman in the photograph looking to be in her 40's at the time. I was hoping to locate someone from the ARPS Family so that this beautiful old photograph could be returned to family, however, I was not successful so I have passed the photograph along to the California Genealogical Society & Library in hopes that they might have better luck.

Rhea and James had 7 kids, not just one.
Bonnie Jean, Rosalyne Adele, James Alfred Jr., Russell Lee, Ann Margaret, Bobby, and Kris. As of 1978 none but Bonnie were married.

They had one daughter, Bonnie Jean, who is married to Lawrence Elyaen and they have 3 children: Lori Jean & Lana June (twins), and Andrew Lawrence.
This is all the info I have for this piece of my family and it's current as of 1978.

I am looking for the ancestors of The Rev. Adolph Hans Hermann Arps. (b. abt. 1835 in Albersdorf, Schleswig, Holstein, Germany/Denmark. He married Helene Jeanette Mathilde d'Aubert. They are the parents of many children, including my husband's grandfather, Rudolph Friedrich Alphonse Arps. Rudolph married Anna Reuss. They were missionaries in India until WWI.
