Mary Balderama Our beloved Mother went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 26, 2006, surrounded by her family. She was born April 9, 1919 in Chino, California and recently celebrated her 87th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pasqual Balderama and her son, Pasqual Balderama Jr. Mary is survived by her son, Santiago Banuelos (Marie) of Hanford, CA; daughters, Ophelia Lara (Ruben) of Upland, CA, Anita Banuelos of Whittier, CA, Angie Guillen (Joe) of Williamson, GA and Phyllis Alba (Adolph) of Chino, CA. She had 12 grandchildren, Sam, Joe, Gregory, Damian, Guy, Carlos, Lisa, Andrea, Valerie, Albert, Mario and Alex and 24 great-grandchildren who will miss and love her always. Her brothers, Sylvester and Paul Arreguin and sisters, Hyacinth Quintanar, Angie Parra, Lydia Ortiz, Carmen Padilla and great aunt Julia Arreguin also survive her. She was a long time resident of Chino. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening. We would like to thank The Gardens at Hillsborough Village, Chino, CA and Ontario Healthcare Center, Chapman Hospice for their help in caring for our Mom through her journey of Alzheimers. Visitation and Rosary will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2006 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Griffith Mortuary; Rosary starts at 7 p.m. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2006 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Chino, CA. Final resting place will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park, Riverside. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 5900 Wilshire Blvd., Ste. 1100, Los Angeles, CA 90036.
