Dear Patty,
Sorry I have not gotten back to you sooner but the laptop that I did all of my genealogy research on crashed back a few years ago and I lost most of what I had. Since that time I have had about like another three email addresses to boot. Not exactly the easiest person to find I guess.
So I just got on my husband's desktop tonight to look around for a while since there is nothing on t.v., no one is home, and I am not feeling well but it is too early to go to bed! I had come across this offer for free Ancestry Lookup and stopped to check it out. Out of curiousity I thought I would key in a few of our surnames. ARROLL falling at the start of the alphabet, brought me to your January posting.
I printed out your post to have it for future reference which unfortunately is all that I may do right now. My backups from the laptop were done on a zip disk, we have since upgraded the zip drive AND my other backups were on 5 1/4 floppies which my husbands desktop and laptop do not have the ability to read.
When I was into genealogy most of my family members were uninterested. Since my laptop crashed years ago I have been approached by two 1st cousins and a 2nd cousin. It would really be nice to get my information back input into a software program (I guess it would be best to purchase something new with all the bells and whistles) to be able to share things with them and to surf the web again for new clues.
My question currently: Do you know where in the United States Mary nee ARROLL and Vincent PALUMBO ended up living?

Dawn Munnings
East Rochester, NY
rays1stlight@gmail.com
