You say that you have access to Tracadie Archives.

Can you find out if there are records for 1834 to 1836, that is the period when missionnaries were baptizing and all, since the parish started only in 1841.

My dilemma: a Telesphore Basque that may have been born in 1834-36 but no trace of him. Strangely, to date, the family of Joseph Bastarache (Basque) and Madeleine Comeau had no kids between 1833 and 1837. Very strange, usually they would have kids every 2 years or at least they would have records of their early deaths.

Please can the Tracadie Archives or the Parish tell me where the records for these years are: Caraquet, Bathurst, or maybe Memramcook.

Thank you for your help. If it is not cler let me know by personal e-mail if you prefer.

Ginette
