Walter Lewis Arsenault b. Sept/Oct 1908, Cheticamp, Cape Breton, NS, Canada and d. 27 Feb 1969 in Margaree, NS. I've already contacted the Cape Breton Highlanders to see if they had any info, so far, nothing. He was a lumberjack most of his life.
This is my grandfather. I'm unable thru records or family to find any information on him other than a few short stories and his 1911 census where he is 2 years old.
My grandfather spelled his last name Arsenault however it was originally Arseneau. There were 2 surviving photos of him, however they can't be found and I've never seen a photo of him.
He was married to Henrietta Connolly Adair
B: 8 May 1912
Joggins Mines, Nova Scotia, Canada
D: 8 Dec 1986
Nova Scotia, Canada
They had 7 children, 2 who died in infancy. My father, still living, but very ill, was one of them, my uncle who has passed away and there are also 3 surviving sisters.
They were married 1 Aug 1937 somewhere in Nova Scotia.
Walter's parents were Basil T Arseneau (1868-1946) and Elizabeth Burke (1867-unknown)
I am desperate for any information and especially a photo.
Thank you for any help you can offer :)
