I'm not related, but in reference to the Elizabeth Cook you mentioned, I accidentally ran across her 1952 obituary today. According to it, Mary Elizabeth Cook was survived by her mother, Mrs. Janie Cook, two brothers [obviously should be half-brothers], Johnny & James Arter, as well as a [half] sister, Mrs. Della May Mullins. Johnny was listed as resident of Newport, Ark. and James as resident of Little Rock, Ark. in 1952. Burial was in Lamkins Cemetery, Jackson Co. Arkansas.
