I had a Greath uncle Alva Arter who live in Lancaster Ohio, He married into my family name McLaughlin. Alva married Besse McLaughlin July 3, 1925. They had no children. I have no other information about Alva, I do remember he worked at the anchor Hocking Glass company in Lancaster, Ohio. I hope this can be of some help to you. I wished that I knew more about Alva but the family did not write anything down about The Arters. Alva and Bess are both gone now sorry no dates.
