ARTER (b. 13 Sept 1829 PA > IL), son of Daniel D. ARTER and his first wife, Mary JARRETT. Ref. ARTER Family Bible: Daniel and Mary's daughter, Sarah Rebecca ARTER (my 3G-aunt), b. 19 June 1820, married Benjamin F. ECHOLS, Daniel's business partner in Pulaski, IL, 26 June 1836. Benjamin died 16 Oct 1850, and Sarah remarried Louis Jackyard on 18 Apr 1852. Sarah had children by both husbands.
