I will continue to look for information among the newspaper clippings. I also have a picture of the tombstone in an 8" x 10" of Michael Oerther and his wife Catherine. These are in German though, but I found a translation among my papers. I remember seeing the name Robbins, but there are a lot of clippings. I also have letters from a Frank Arter from Ohio and a Lettie Arter from Ohio. My grandfather was into this genealogy and attended many reunions in Ohio. I also have some clippings about the Arter Reunions. In a letter from Lettie there is information that Michael Oerther came by ship "Barclay" from Rotterdam and arrived in Philadelphia on 14 Sep 1754. There is a typed paper booklet, which I'm going to start reading tonight about the Arter Genealogy. If I find any information about your family, I will let you know.
