Thomas R. and Philip were both in Claiborne Parish, LA. in the 1860 census. They were both in Dale Co. Al so the assumption is that they are brothers. There was also a JP and a James in the 1840 or 50 census.
I have found no information as to their parents, James might have been the father or an uncle as he was much older. Supposedly, TR was born in GA, location unknown.
Would appreciate hearing if you know any more.
