Does anyone’s Arthurs research tie in to the family of Thomas Arthurs and Jane (Ramsay?) Arthurs, who lived in and around the suburbs of Toronto, Canada in the second half of the 19th century? Among the children are William and Margaret (and others) - Margaret married a fascinating man named Joseph L Grady, originally of Nova Scotia, who changed his name to Thomas Grady, became a speech therapist in the Toronto area, and moved to Boston where he became Professor Grady, the Stammerer's Friend! There is also a woman married to a man named Ant (Anthony?) Clarke living with the family in 1861 who may also have been an Arthurs, or possibly a Ramsay. Arthurs is a name seen with great frequency in Canada during this time period - any information would be greatly appreciated.
