My great-great grandfather was Wallace Arthurs who migrated from Edinburg, Scotland to Charleston and eventually to Iredell County in approximately 1799. Unfortunately records which were housed at the Statesville Courthouse burned in a fire nearly 150 years ago.
I would like to do some research and novice in genealogy. I need help and guidance.
