Hi, I was hoping to compare notes on your family in Bellville. I noticed in the 1860 census that your family was living next to a William Arthurs and his family including a Samuel and Robert. My G-GF James from Co Monaghan Ireland had brothers Samuel and Robert. Most of my family settled a short distance away in Paterson. The distance and repetition of names has me believing there is a connection.
