Hi, Juanita. Would you happen to know who Ruffin's parents were? The Johnston County line I researched (not my own, but a cousin's) goes back to Archibald Artis and Nancy Haithcock, who were born in the early 1800s. I don;t recognize the names you mention, but will keep an eye out for them. Take care, and good luck.
