Hi Lisa,
My Grandparents are from Selma Township, Johnston county NC. Roger Artis and Roberta Watson Artis are their names. On the 1910 Census I found Roger's parents, who were Ruffin, Phoebe (there's several spellings for this name. Siblings include: John A., James G., Minny, Lily, David, Ruffin Jr. Also on the census is Mary Atkinson listed as the Mother in law, Edd Everit, Joseph Everit, Elijah Everit Mary and the Everits were probably Phoebe' relatives. Here's hoping that there is some relationship.
