I have conducted considerable research on Artis lines in Wayne/Wilson/Johnston Counties, NC. Ultimately, all are probably related, but the lines have fragmented since leaving southside Virginia in the late 1700s. If you are interested in Artises in any of these counties, please contact me with the name of the earliest ancestor you know and I'll check my files.
