Thank you for your messages. I have not learned anything new on the Artis' of South Hampton County since your last message to me. My mother was Annie Mae and yes she did go to school with her sisters and brothers (Lucy, Frank, Christine, Tommy-Earl, David, Rosa, Enid, Joe, Lillie Ann) in Drewryville. I am still looking for my mother's grandmother. My mother's mother was named Mazena Peebles-Rooks-Bottoms. I am also looking for my father's grandfather. My grandfather name was James Hayes. I believe the Hayes' are out of Dunns Hill, NC.
