I have been working on the Artley family history for about 40 years. I have traced back to 1675 in Germany. Came to US in 1749 under the name of Oertley on a Britiah ship. German name was Erdle. Do you have anything on Heinrich Erdle? Name becane Henry Artley in the late 1700's in Berks Co. PA.
