(it suspected that he moved out west- family legend has it that it was probably Nevada- I know that he got his SS Card in CO in 1951- and that he probably moved out to CA from there- there is an Everett who died in California...dates do not match- could be his son)

9) Gertrude Artrup

I have not requested any records yet- the information that I have is based on info from living relatives, the family bible, and some records that I have found online... I will be requesting records sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Family legend has it that this family lived in Ashland, Boyd Co., KY before some or all of them moved up to Ohio. And that the Pike County (Pikesville) Artrips of the 1930's era were cousins to this family. My mother-in-law was told this by her mother, Mary Ellen Artrip (daughter of Ebbert)...she also told her that a couple of her first cousins were Shiela (who was killed in a car crash as a teenager)and Willy (who was with Mary Ellen as they witnessed this accident). There are more cousins that my mother-in-law mentioned, I will have to get their names. Last heard Shiela had 2 surviving siblings- a brother and a sister. She also had 1 brother who died in the car crash with her.

If any of this sounds familiar, please email me. Thank you.
