Myrtle E. Lodholz - Oshkosh Northwestern - (Feb/8/2005)
Myrtle E. Lodholz, 85, 1010 E. Wausau Ave., Wausau, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born April 25, 1919, in the town of Stettin, daughter of the late Carl and Alwina (Wilde) Artus. On June 5, 1943, she married Gilbert Lodholz at Rib Falls Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1988.
Myrtle was a homemaker. She loved talking to people and listening to polka music.
Survivors include two sisters, Esther Roy and Agnes (Alvin) Rusch, both of Wausau; sister-in-law, Ruth Artus, Wausau; nieces, great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wausau. The Rev. Dennis W. Pegorsch will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park in Wausau. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the church.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the nurses and doctors at Aspirus Wausau Hospital and the staff of Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Wausau for the loving care given to her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church of Wausau.
