I do not believe Artuso is a relative of Artusi from Rovigno. However I did contact Adam Eterovich who gave me the following lead I hunted, some time ago.

I am looking for Frank Artuzo, or Artuso, who came from the Island of Krk, in now Croatia. My records indicate he immigrated to New York somewhere.

You can find quite a lot of Genealogy on the Istria Talks web page. However the name found there is Artusi in Rovigno. It is possible your Artuso is a variant.
