My great great grandfather Michael Arvay was born in Sacurov, northeast of Kosice, in 1813. He married a Maria Viszokai on 5-2-1833. They had 8 children, Mike, Jan, Maria, Andrej, Juraj, Maria(Again), and twins Adam and my great grandfather Pavol. Pavol married a Alzbeta Gyuricsko on Nov 25, 1874. She was from Krivany. They had four children, Paul, Elizabeth (my Grandmother), Anna, and Susan. They came to the USA in the late 1800's and settled in the hard coal region in a town called Jeddo. (not sure of spelling)I am not sure what happened to Paul, but my grandmother came to Indiana Co, Pa. and married my grandfather Mike Rostis or Rostas. Anna first marriage was to a Nick Celmo. After his death she married a Guy Cecconi and settled in Mich. Does anyone have any info. about the above. I have info that mr great grandfathers twin brother Adam also came to the US unknown where.
