Mari or Annette,
I am married to an Asaro. They all settled in NYC or NJ.
Most all of them are from Mazzara del Vallo. It's a tiny little village in Sicily. If your family is from there, then somehow we're related.
Now here's one for you. My husband's mom is an Asaro by birth as well. They are from Caltanisetta.
I don't want to give out family names in a posting as we had someone trying to do an identity fraud thing a few years ago. If you e-mail me, I may be able to help you.
