My Great-Grandfather Nicolas Asaro with his wife Fanny Asaro both came through Ellis Island from Sicily. I am the granddaughter of one of his sons, Joseph Asaro. My grandfather Joseph is one of 6 children. He had 2 brothers and 3 sisters. They resided in Brooklyn and then Ozone Park Queens.
