Anita, if there are only 188 of them in Mazara, they are probably related somehow...the Perniciaro name is in the Asaro family as well (in Mazara). In fact I do believe that is the name of my husband's one living aunt (90+ years), but on his mother's side (Villafranca). You should definitely try to go to Mazara...well worth the trip!
