I am not Asay related, but I have a cousin who is Asay related and his grandmother's Asay line goes back from California to Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania and then Burlington County, New Jersey.
There are several Asay lines not related to each other.
My cousin's Asay line is not related to the Joseph Asay line.

I would highly suggest you have a Y-DNA test and publish the results and your genealogy pedigree as you have it.
