I'm trying to find info on Elizabeth Asay who was married to John Shinn in Burlington, New Jersey in 1803. I've heard that her father was named James, John, Jacob, or Jonathan, that his last name might have been Easey or Easay and that her mother might have been Jane Shreve or Jane Shrieve... Honestly, I've heard and found so many contradictory things when it comes to her parents I don't know what to believe. If anyone can help me with this puzzle, I'd be grateful. I believe she was born in Springfield Twp. in 1785, but who knows... Thanks to anyone who might be willing to share info.
