This information is bogus! Joseph Asbell is my 4'th great grandfather. I have his death records here in my hometown of Thomas County GA. He was born in 1815 and died in 1875. His oldest son Noah was born in 1840. He married Rebeca Wilcox in 1837 in Telfair County GA. His father is unknown! It is not John Asbell JR. This wrong information was listed in a book by George Bennett in 1956. I looked up the info myself, be careful what you read it may be wrong.
