Velda, I think it might be worth your time to research the 1850 MO census data for Scott Co. (Jefferson Miller Tws.);
Howard Co. (no township names, lots of ASBERRYs); Jackson Co. (Kaw Washington Tws.); Lincoln Co. (45th District);
Ray Co. (75th District); Boone Co. (Being 8T); Clay Co. (Gallatin Tws.); and Linn Co. (50th District).
Most of the early MO ASBERRY families were from VA, but I did not record their data.
If you can get access to a MO 1850 Census Index, you can add the individual names and film page numbers to my data,
and go right to the names.
