Dear Jason,
The Burleigh Co., North Dakota -- ASBRIDGE's -- are written up in a county history book by Bismarck-Mandan Genealogical and Historical Society. Part of is said:
"Thomas William Asbridge IV came to Burleigh county in 1881. He was born in Wisconsin in 1857 to Thomas ASBRIDGE III and his wife, the former Elizabeth PARROTT. ..... A sea captain by trade, Thomas ASBRIDGE III was lost at sea never seeing the son his wife gave birth to. An interesting bit of history on his grandfather Thomas ASBRIDGE I, who was a seafaring man and lived in Maryport, England, was that at the time of his death in 1840 at the age of 80, he was eulogized as having commanded the first vessel ever built at that place. Being the oldest seafarer in Maryport, many owed their lives to his expertise on the high seas. Having never tasted intoxication liquor frrom cradle to grave he was aptly termed the "Father of Teetotalism." There is no information available on his son, Thomas ASBRIDGE II.
After 6 years of widowhood, Elizabeth married Patrick SMALL, ....."

My husband is related to you on the PARROTT and SMALL family lines. Do you know what happened to Emma ASBRIDGE, the sister of Thomas William ASBRIDGE IV? I would also like to find more information on Thomas W. ASBRIDGE III. What other information are you looking for?
Sincerely, Darlyene Martyn
