Looking for information on William Ashton born 1865 Hundleby, Lincolnshire.
He was a widower when he married Charlotte Allbones in 1892. Charlotte & William had 7 children on the 1901 cenus, William M born 1893, Kate born 1894, George born 1895, Beatrice born 1896, Thomas born 1897, Florence born 1899 & Hannah M born 1901. I am trying to find William's parents. His father's name was blank on the marriage certificate, so he was possibly illegitimate.
It is possible that his first wife was Jane.
