Hi,
I'm descended from the Askells of Chester-le-Street, Co Durham. My gggg grandparents are Eleanor Askell (chr 16 Oct 1768 Chester-le-Street) and Christopher Webster ( marr 23 Sept 1799 in Chester-le-Street). The family go back several generation in this parish, in fact to a Michael Askel in 1582 but I haven't quite got all the links. Any info ??
