Darn - I just posted this on the general boards by mistake... anyway..

I am just starting out on my own ASKEW search, as it turns out my g-grandmother, Isabel Catherine ASKEW, is "from Tennessee" and that's about all I know! According to a Colorado census - she was born arouin 1840. She married John PALMER in 1868 and they lived in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Her mother was from North Carolin and her father was from Georgia.
