Hi! There are at least several people doing research on this family. Sara Marie Askey-Hugar (deceased) did research that indicated a possible connection to the Earl of Mar, Scotland. There are several family reunions active, two in the general Snow Shoe, PA (USA) area. They are scheduled each year around July 4th.
