What a very quiet board we have..........

As a matter of interest, when in Clitheroe Library last year in the Family History area, a very helpful librarian informed us that they had a book written by Newton Hartley ASPDEN. He was a son of Richard, who was a son of James, who was a son of Richard. I have found it most interesting. Talks about his life as a journalist over a number of years. Some reference to his family - father and a brother.

Any Aspden family member visiting Clitheroe Library may be interested in having a look. It was an easy read so would likely take just a couple of hours. Is not for loan.
