Charles Fremont Rogers was my great grandfather. I checked with my 88 year old Mom and she was unaware that her Grandfather owned a boat building company. She said that as an undertaker - he probably had extra money to invest in other businesses.

WILL EXHIBIT MOTOR BOAT IN SOUTH AMERICA
George S. Curtlss, manager of the
Rift-climbing Boat company, has been
in New York the past few days, to
confer with tho head engineer of the
company now completing plans for
the Roosevelt exhibition in South Am­
erica, in reference to the use Of two
of their boats. It is almost posUviely
decided that.the company will take two
rift-cllinbers, a large and a small one;
but it was necessary for a person from
the factory to go to New York to, make
clear some details in regard to the way
the company wants the boats con­
structed.
