Hi, just read your post and became interested because I am African American and this is the first post that I have viewed that are of the African American heritage. Not sure if we are related in any way. My father is Milton Atwater and his father was Milton Atwater, Sr. They were born and raised in Arkansas. My father has two brothers, Edgar and Sam. I also understand that some of our heritage goes back to a Indian tribe. Not sure which one though. Any info from anyone would sure be helpful.
