Thank you for the info....so Joseph was 1st married to Marie Godin in 1892 in Montreal. I learned from St Romuald's that he was born in 1867 in Dunham,PQ..then married Mathilde in Farnham in 1907 and died in January 1910 in Farnham. He looks like he died shortly before my father, Theodore, was born.

My great grandmother,Olive Desroches Audette,died in New Bedford,MA in 1899. My great grandfather was Raphael Audette. His brothers and sisters were, Alfred,Joseph,Levis,Angelina,Henri,and my grandmother Mathilde. So we may be cousins.....

I have my father's 1910 baptism certificate(Arthur Theodore Brosseau) from St Romnald de Farnham Parish.His sponsors were Alfred Audette and Mare Louise Laporte,aunt and uncle to my father.Do you have any info on Arthur Theodore Brosseau,son of Joseph Brosseau and Mathilde Audette? My parents,Arthur Theodore and Hazel Isabel Wilson were divorced when I was a child...I am looking for any info on him or his family.

You are looking for Pierre Audet and Emelie Roy married 15 Oct 1877 St Timothee, Beauharnois. His parents are not in the marriage record. Her parents were Antoine Roy and Emelie Meloche married 7 Nov 1843 St Timothee.

I'm looking for anything people can tell me regarding Pierre and his family that seemed to have settled around the Red Lake, MN area.

My lineage goes through Pierre's son Raoul and his son Harry. Just started looking into all this and it's quite exciting. I'd love to know more! It seems Pierre is the roadblock and there is not much more information after him.

Hello..I too am a beginner at this...and I also have an Audet or Audette in my family tree...my great-grandmother, Ida Audette,born abt. 1877,possibly from Canada, she married Alfred Bourque on Aug. 30, 1897. They had several children, Ethel, Yvette, Leona, Phil, Georgianna, Ernestine, Bridget, Lia, but I can't find any information on most of the children...Leona is my grandmother on my mother's side...they are all from Maine, Canada as far as I know...at least my grandmother was, I knew Ethel, Yvette, Phil growing up, but not the others...

I Have the new Audette's repertory who contains a lot of Audette's family threads. Arthur was the uncle of my grand father Georges Ferdinand and he left him the cemetery lot ans I still have the hand writed letter of this transaction made by Arthur.
The repertory gives Corinne's infos but stop after. But it gives His brother's Arthur born in 1856 in Quebec city the names of all his children. A work should be do to complete de repertory.

Guy Audette left a message a very long time ago about Harry Wade's research that I found very interesting in its reference to George Simeon Audette, my great great-grandfather. I would be very interested in any information he or anyone might have on this Audette. His daughter Corinne married Henri Roy, whose daughter was Germaine Louisette Roy, my grandmother. Corinne's brother was Louis Arthur Audette, a prominent judge, whose children were also very interesting. But I know very little about George Simeon Audette himself. If you are still using this service, Guy - or others - I would be grateful for a brief response.

We share the same ancestors Audette. Raphael Audette had another son, Alfred who married Marie Louise Laporte. They had a daughter Lilia born 1904, she moved to Hartford Conn, in 1930's. I wonder do you know anything about her. I would be pleased to hear from you about the Audette's.
I am also interested about Henry who went to Winooski.

We have been trying to find out info on Edisse for quite sometime. My husband Gerry's grandfather was Moyse half brother. He remembers your mother Thelma and also her mother Mina. Mina lived in Chilliwack, B.C. for some years. His mother Janet lived there also.
We did meet up with Moyse in Ethelton a few years ago. He was getting ready to move. I think to B.C. Didn't realize that he had any info about the family then. Are there any pictures of Edisse that you know of?

Joseph Audette and his second wife Victorine Langlois. THey emigrated to Central Falls, Pawtucket, Rhode Island around 1901 and buried in Notre-Dame Cemetery.

Joseph is my great-great-grand-father.

Adeline Audette daughter of Georges Audette

One of my great grandmothers was Adeline Audette born in Quebec (I'm not entirely sure where). Our family records have her being the daughter of Georges Audette and Vitaline Prejean. Georges and Vitaline may never have left Canada; I know little of them.

Adeline Audette ended up in Fond du lac, WI and married Joseph Moquin. They had 17 kids one of which was my grandmother Cordelia Moquin.

On my dad's side of the family the only great-great-great grandparents that I don't know are Georges Audette's parents and Vitaline Prejean's parents. My hope was that the Audette family experts on this forum would recognize some of these names and be able to rightly place Georges into his slot within the Audette family tree.

My name is Dan Corsini (Beamsville Ontario) My grandmothers maiden name was Audette(Mary)We were always told that an Uncle of hers was a senator of Vermont,Her Fathers name was David Audette,Schoolteacher and actor in Hamilton Ontario,He was the Senators Relative,Brother or cousin I am not too sure,I will have to ask my mother whom is 93 yrs. old to get some more info.We were always told wonderful storys of the family when we were kids,The son of David Audette,whom also was called David Audette was an Artist,self taught,and very talented artist,if I can tap my mothers memory which is still pretty good but fades at times I will get back to you,continued success in your search.

US Census available list him as married, and was a milkman.

Did he become a brother (priest?) from the congregation of Brothers of the Sacred-Heart later on (after 1930)?

I have beeen talking to a lady that believes that John Audett(e) is the 2 oldest son of Charles Audette and Florence Hamel who were both born in Canada and then moved to MI for a short time and settle in St Croix County, WI for the rest of therir lives, I have a lot on this family and was wondering who that Leon is. Since many ofter shorten there name he may be one I have a information on. All information on this John Audette point back to this family. Where he was born, when he was at in the 1870 and 1880 census, same place where two of his married sister were at in Marshall County, MN. So I almost positive that he is from the St Croix Cty, Wi family, Would love to connect to another family line. I have family lines on most of Charles and Florance 16 children but not all. Still missing 3.

My Great Uncle daughter married into this family.

We are trying to trace the history of my grandfathers family. We think they came from La Chute Quebec Canada. Charles was born on 6th May 1887. We think his fathers name was Frank Audette and they owned a tobacco farm, Frank may also have been a law student or lawyer. Charles had 2 sisters Ruth and Myrtle and one brother Paul. We think one of his sisters moved to Maine. Charles left home at about 16 years of age and went to New York and worked for a time at the Atkinson Saw Works. Later joining the American Mercantile Marines. His brother Paul worked at Pollywink Company in Canada. We have been searching for so long and someone, somewhere out there must know of the family history. If they do, please get in touch.
