I am not related to the Audia line, my cousin Geraldine Boggs married John Audia (deceased), brother of Dominic. Geraldine still lives in Pennington Gap, VA. John had another brother, who passed away several years ago, I don't remember his name.

Hi,
My husbands Grandfather: Luigi Audia, his Son's: Dominic , Sam, John- Sam only living son.
Luigi settled in Woodway, Va, had a sister Maria that lived in W. Va, but married name unknown to us.
Possibly related.
( Uncle Sam Audia)only son of Luigi, surviving :in Pennnington Gap,Va.)Dominic(only son born in Italy, moved to W.Carrollton, Ohio in 1953.My husband Louis lives in Fl.
Interesting if we are related.

My family was of the Audia and Pizzuto surnames and they immigrated from SGF to Morgantown WV in the early 1900s. They Americanized my families names (from Audia to Andy) and also their first names. I am actually traveling to SGF this week to search for some distant relatives. Does anyone reading this blog think that they might be related or have any other information on Audia/Pizzuto names or history? Any help would be appreciated. Hello - my Audaers were from those areas - Mary b 1791 daughter of Anthony bc1758 and Jane Meggison?. I have been trying to contact Alan Nicholson, but with no luck!

Dear Al
I am delighted to have heard from you. I have been searching for Audaers for some time, particularly in America as I had heard that Walter had emigrated there with three of the children. My Aunt Alice(Metcalf) married Walter son of George Allen Audaer in 1907 and their eldest child Edith was born the following year. After that there was Patience, Dorothy and a son known as Sonny. Alice died in 1918 and Edith was sent out to New Zealand to be cared for by Grandma (Metcalf) and her family. She lost contact with her family after a while, and never heard from them again. Edith married and had two children -June and a younger sister. About three years ago I discovered that June lives close to the school where I teach so I have been in touch with her ever since. June will be thrilled to know that she has a cousin, as Edith also lost contact with the Metcalf family here in Christchurch.
