CORRECTION; I am great great grand daughter of Anna Maria AUFDEMBERG born 3 November 1829 Barenaue, Osnabruck, Germany who married Cord Henry Fruechtnicht. They settled in Ripley Co. Indiana. I would like to swap info/photos.

How interesting to find this thread. You will be surprised to know that you and I are first cousins. I am your Dad's half brother. I am the product of Mildred Benson and John Francis Bender.

Hi,
My great aunt's name is Maxine Aufdenberg Harris who had a son, Ronnie Harris. Can you please let me know if Maxine had a sister by the name of Geraldine Aufdenberg and a brother by the name of Earl Aufdenberg? My family is scattered and I am trying to make connections with my fathers side of the family. My fathers name is Harry Aufdenberg who resides in Painsville, Ohio.

Look no more. I am the grandaughter of both Earl Aufdenberg and Mildred Aufdenberg and the daughter of Harry Aufdenberg. I also have a hard copy family tree that I can share with you or anyone else if your interested. Let me know. Are we related? There are so many Aufdenberg's it's a little confusing on who is related to who!

Hi,
I am also the grandaughter of Earl Aufdenberg and Mildred Benson. My fathers name is Harry Aufdenberg. Harry had six children and has quite a few grandchildren. Earl had two sisters, Geraldine Aufdenberg and Maxine Aufdenberg. Let me know if you would like more information regarding the family. What is Diana's father's name?

Diana, No I'm not the daughter of Harry Aufdenberg, but we are probably cousins just the same. Bernice Aufdenberg was my grandmother. In my Aufdenberg info (which a large part I just received from another very generous cousin!), I have a Diane, daughter of Marvin Aufdenberg and Virginia Lohmann. Would this be you? Dr. Ronald Richard Harris died Jan. 11, 2004, in Cañon City, CO. He was born Feb. 9, 1950, in St. Louis, Mo., to Harold C. and Maxine D. (Aufdenberg) Harris.

He graduated from Jackson High School in Jackson, Mo., in 1968. He married Nancy J. Jones in 1980, in Jackson, Mo.

He served in the Air Force from 1972 to 1978, and in the National Guard until 1983.

Dr. Harris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Southeast Missouri State University in 1979. He obtained his Masters of Arts degree in psychology in 1998 from Regis University in Denver and his Doctor of Psychology degree from Southern California University in 2003.

As a licensed and nationally certified counselor, he ran a private practice, taught as an Adjunct Professor at Pueblo Community College in Pueblo and was a published author.

Dr. Harris is survived by his wife, Nancy, and his only son, Aaron Richard Jones Harris.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements were handled by Holt Family Funeral Home.

Hi Julie, none of the names you gave me sound familiar. Since I did'nt know my father really well, I only know who my grandparents are on that side of the family. Their names are Earl Aufdenberg and Mildred Benson. Earl coud've had siblings, but I don't know who they are. If you can find out anything from your other relatives, let me know. Thanks, Diana
