Dear Claude,
My written french is very bad, but I can read it fine. Thank you for all the information provided.
I found the same information that you did about Leblond/Leblanc. I have nothing but secondary source that support the claim of Leblond. Most of the information I have but I don't have any sources for Philias and Delia's wedding.
From Ancestry.ca, I have found 4 additional census, which gives me a source for two additional children for Jean-Baptiste and Livia Montreuil, not found in the 1901 census, and a source for Jean-Baptiste Auger's parents.
Do you have any information on Livia/Delvina/Melvina Montreuil, as this will be my next posting? In each of the documents I've found for Jean-Baptiste, his wife seems to change her name and I have had a hard time finding anything about her. Here's what I know so far and none of it is supported by primary sources:
Delvina Montreuil
Born circa 1854
Married before 1871
1871: Gloucester, Russel, Ontario(source: 1871 census)
1881: Ottawa Ward, Ottawa City, Ontario(source: 1881 census)
Death: 1889-1891(source: 1891 census. Jean-Baptiste is listed as widowed and has a daughter, Victoria, aged 2 giving me the window of death)
If you have any sources, I'd greatly appreciate it and would be willing to share any sources I have. Thank you again for replying.
Richard
