Hi
I have a rather lengthy Augsburger file.
I have it as a Family Tree Maker file and
if you send me an email I will send it to you.
I do not know what you mean by being #6 above.
Do you have Family Tree Maker program?
Or I could send it as a Outline or a Gedcom.
Now this is many many many generations so unless you have a Family Tree Maker program to go through it, it would be very hard to follow.
you may email me if you want it at:
spalljn@embarqmail.com
I have some of the information you may be looking for.
Abraham Augsburger is my gggrandfather with his 4th wife
Barbara Liechty. Some of your information on this line is
incorrect, some incomplete.
I am totally new to online genealogy and message boards, etc. I have been working on and off for 25 years, all
pre-computer; done in actual libraries and archives.
I'm not sure what to do from here. I'd be happy to share
what I have. Do we communicate by email or this website?

1880 census, Brooklyn Twp., Cuyahoga Co., OH, listed Adolph and Christine. Adolp was born about 1840 in Germany and Christine was born in ohio about 1848, the child of two German parents. I am looking for information on Adolph and Christine's marriage.

I am attempting to locate one Christine Voelkle who is the daughter of Joseph and Ann Voelkle. In 1850, my Christine is 2 and in 1860, orphaned and living with older brother, Philip, she is 12. By 1880, Philip is married and listed on his own and Christine is lost - probably married.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings, the following information is fra a book I own: Langdon ND Centennial Edition 1888-1988.

Lena Augspurger or could be Augsburger was born in Pennsylvania in 1863 and moved to Illinois when she was eight years of age.

The Augspurger/Augsburger family trace their ancestry to 1420 Augsburg, Bavaria, where they became active in the Reformation and where family portraits are still displayed. Some members of the family were the third branch of the Amish to settle in Ohio.

For further research you can read the following biographies that I have posted: Henry, Chester and Roy Denler bio's; and Cooper, Marvin, Sam and William Giles.

Hope this helps someone. Thank you!

Mandy, are you still at this e-mail? I have gotten hold of a copy of a photo of Uncle Will's genetic grandmother. She died very young in childbirth. Her married name was Mattie Fawer.
I remembered seeing the photo at my great-aunts (Louise)house when I was a child. I was able to track it down and one of Uncle Will's cousin made a copy and sent it to me. I can e-mail it if you would like to have a copy.

Bill Judge
