family history in Louisiana

My dear family in louisiana. Several year ago I met some people on vacation with a family reunion for Augustine family members. The women I spoke to told me we were related. I would love any information on the family name, next family reunion etc. I'm intrested in where the name originates from, how we got to this country etc. Sincerely Denise Augustine
