I realize your post is old but I came across some info during my MERRITTS GRAY ROUGH SHELOW research.
Catherine ROUGH b.abt. 1800 married Abraham GRAFFIS/GRAFFIUS 1785-1830. Catherine ROUGH later married John AURANDT. They had children Josiah and Rachel. Rachel married John CAROTHERS. Hope this helps someone.
