BARBARA J. AUSENBAUGH Age 70, of Portage, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2004 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. She was a lifelong area resident and retired medical transcriptionist from Amcorp. Mrs. Ausenbaugh was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben, in June of 2002, and a sister, Betty Walters. She is survived by 3 children: Deborah (Rob Leeds) Mugnaini-Leeds of Park Ridge, Illinois, Brenda (Brian) and Kenneth (Kimberly nee Childers) Ausenbaugh of Hobart; 4 grandchildren, Catherine & Jason Mugnaini, Madison & Paige Ausenbaugh; sisters, Helen Parker & Nancy (William) Wessner, all of New Castle, Indiana; brothers, George (Linda) Parker of Cortez, Florida, Stephen (Carol) Parker of Anderson, Indiana and nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 11, 2004 at 10 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, with Rev. Brenda Ludwig officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Portage. Visitation is Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
